Our Story

Brewery B

Brewery B was founded in 2016 as a brewfirm with her own recipes. At the end end off 2019 we became a full operational Brewery.

Brewery B stands for:
- B for Beer, Beer with respect for quality
- B for Brothers, Brothers with passion
- B for Blankenberge, a city with a unique character

Our Team

The reference to the B for Brothers irefers to the passion that Pieter and Jan share for beer. After founding a beer tasting club together (vzw 't Scarphoutertje Beer tasting club), in Blankenberge, the eagerness to learn wasn't tempered. They followed a two years during course zythology (beer sommelier) at Syntra West and completed this with success. After that, the idea of founding a beer firm, with the ambition of evolving to a microbrewery was born.

Founding the brewery

Brewery B was founded in June 2016 with the slogan Brother, Beer, Blankenberge (and Belgium as an extension). At the same moment, their first beer was commercialized, named Real Love.

Carnival 2017: thisrecipe was made sepciallyfor carnival. This one isn’t commercialised yet. It will be once the evolution to a self supporting brewery is made.

Dark Love

October 2017, on the second Beer fest in Blankenberge, this brown beer was introduced to the public.

« E n'Echten » is now also made available for every one.

The B15 Brut, specially made for the remembrance of the liberation off Blankenberge 75years ago by the Canadian Manitoba Dragoons and the 750year anniversary of the existence of the town as a city will be launched Also the Roesschaart Stout is coming up as an ode to the fishermen in their family.
